Good Review Paper: Tom Murray Authoring Intelligent Tutoring Systems:: An analysis of the state of the art International Journal of Artificial Intelligence in Education (1999), 10, 98-129. Should be noted that Tom reviewed the TDK that I build my dissertation in by looking at Demonstr8 by Steve Blessing. Not a very representative TDK tutor. There are a lot of system mentioned that would be a good place to start investigating.
